Malta
The Republic of Malta is an archipelago of three islands located in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. These islands limited the south with the north Sicily and Libya. Malta is an independent country, a member of the European Union, with an area of 316km 2 and 413,609 inhabitants.
The capital is Valletta although not the most populous city, as the Valletta is basically a historical capital. Malta has been disputed by ao different countries and cultures throughout its history, because of its strategic location allowed country, and in fact still allows good control of the Mediterranean. In fact until 1964 he belonged to the English crown.
